Welcome Email Sequence Template
A welcome sequence should help a new subscriber recognize the sender, receive what was promised, and decide whether to stay.

Message one: deliver and orient
Send the promised resource, name the sender, restate the subject and frequency, and provide a visible unsubscribe link. Avoid adding several unrelated offers before the subscriber has received what prompted the signup.
Messages two and three: teach and listen
Use the second message to solve one adjacent problem with a complete answer. Use the third to ask one question that helps you understand the subscriber's situation. Replies are more informative than a manufactured engagement prompt.
- Subject: name the specific lesson or question.
- Opening: connect to the signup source.
- Body: make one point with one useful example.
- Close: give one clear next action or none.
Message four: explain the ongoing relationship
Describe what the regular publication covers and how often it usually arrives. If there is a commercial offer, state it plainly and disclose any relevant relationship.
Review complaints, opt-outs, and replies after the sequence has enough volume to show a pattern. Change the sequence to improve fit, not simply to increase message count.
