Choose the next useful job
List the questions customers ask before they are ready to buy. Pick one that can be answered without hiding the essential solution behind an email gate. The resource should save time, improve a decision, or help the reader produce a result they can inspect.
Match the format to the job
A calculator fits a numerical decision. A checklist fits a repeatable review. A template fits a document the reader must produce. A short example fits a question about quality or structure.
- Early research: glossary, comparison worksheet, or question guide.
- Evaluation: scorecard, calculator, or requirements checklist.
- Preparation: template, brief, or operating worksheet.
- After purchase: setup checklist or maintenance guide.
Test usefulness before promoting it
Give the draft to five people who match the audience. Watch where they pause and ask what they did next. Revise the resource when it creates confusion or attracts people with no relationship to the offer.
State what happens after signup. The download does not cancel the reader's right to understand the email relationship or leave it.
